In years past, I have raised funds for the March of Dimes in Madison's memory. I plan to again participate in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica this April in Madison's memory. Thanks to all of my generous family and friends I have been able to raise well over $1000 for the March of Dimes over the past 4 years! This year, I plan to commemorate Madison's 5th Angel Day in a slightly different way. I have decided to raise funds for a non-profit charity that is specific to the birth defect which took Madison from me. CHERUBS is a non-profit, international organization which provides support and advocacy for families and care-givers of children and adults diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). CHERUBS was the one and only CDH-specific organization in existence at the time of Madison's diagnosis, and I relied heavily on the CHERUBS website and its caring members for information and support. Now I would like to re-pay some of that kindness by fundraising for them in Madison's memory.
