My personal message:

Hi everyone!

I'm at it again: I'll be running the Boston Marathon this April.  I've been training all winter, and the next few weeks are when it gets really tough!  I know I can do it, and crossing the finish line knowing that I have helped a good cause will make it all worth while.  But I can't do it without your help. 

This time around, I'll be putting on my running shoes for the Healthworks Foundation, an organization dedicated to bringing health and wellness to homeless and low-income women in the Boston area.  Currently, the Healthworks Foundation funds a non-profit fitness facility in Dorchester, and is looking to open a second facility that will target the specific wellness needs of children as well as continue to meet the needs of women.  For more information about the Healthworks Foundation, please visit its website:  www.healthworksfoundation.org 

In order to run, I have made the commitment to raise $2500 and I'm going to need all the help I can get!  No donation is too small.  Even if you can only give $10, that will put me $10 closer to my goal.
 

Whether it's a financial contribution, keeping me company on my long training runs, or passing the word on to anyone you think might donate, any support you can give me is greatly appreciated.  And thank you to all who have supported me already!
