My personal message:

This will be my first time running running a race of any kind.  I am so excited to be running the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon to benefit the Special Olympics Southern California Athletes - Team SOSC.  Please help me to reach my fundraising goal of $1,000.00

My participation in this worthy endeavor stems from my true desire to help with providing year-round sports training for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  With your assistance, we can ensure that they continue to receive the opportunities to experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.
