 Why Am I Asking To Be Sponsored?

 I'm writing about about my mother to help raise awareness about the need for transplants, and the financial hardship due to our broken healthcare system. I want the proceeds for the book to start The Connie Bill Foundation to raise awareness for Universal Healthcare.
 
I want to attend one of the events held during NaNoWriMo on November 15th, which is a writing event. November is National Novel Writing Month, and the goal is to complete a novel in 30 days. This event will help me to complete my book and get it published sooner.

About the Donation, it will support creative writers. Here is the information about that:

Mission: The Office of Letters and Light organizes events where children and adults find the inspiration, encouragement, and structure they need to achieve their creative potential. Our programs are web-enabled challenges with vibrant real-world components, designed to foster self-expression while building community on local and global levels

Programs: November is National Novel Writing Month, a program which challenges children, teens, and adults write a novel in 30 days. OLL also hosts Script Frenzy, during which participants write a 100-page script within the month of April.
