Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.

History:
I was diagnosed with scleroderma 7 years ago. My journey for knowledge led me to a local support group in the Dallas area. 4 years ago I took over as support group leader and in January of 2007 was elected as board president of the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter representing the state of Texas for the Scleroderma Foundation.
My goal as President is to bring the threefold mission of Support, Education, and Research to the entire state of Texas. As a result we have had chapter meetings in Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, El Paso, San Antonio, and most recently Lubbock. Our next chapter meeting will be in Corpus Christi. We have held medical workshops in Houston, and Austin. This year our medical workshop will take us to Irving, TX. located near the DFW airport. We have also opened a number of new support groups around Texas benefiting patients and caregivers alike. Our entire board of directors look forward to bringing you these exciting and informative events to a city near you in the future.

Healthwise
My present scleroderma health is stable. I do have interstitial lung damage and suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. Fatigue is a factor as well. But you know me---
I keep going like the energizer bunny intent on the SF mission & vision!

What's Going On Now:
I am excited to announce our 1st ever Texas Bluebonnet Chapter "Stepping Out To Cure Scleroderma" DFW walk located inside the Grapevine Mills Mall on June 28th. The Dallas Support Group has joined forces with the Tarrant County Support Group to ensure that our first walk is the best Texas has ever had. Please join us at the walk to support our patients, raise pledges, and personally meet our board of directors.

Remember, as we raise funds we also raise AWARENESS.
