My family and I would like to thank you for your kind donations to our online fundraising page in the past. In the two years since my cancer diagnosis & start of treatment we have managed to raise close to $100,000 for the North Shore Cancer. I have been in full remission for over a year and have only one more cycle of Rituxan (this July) to go. The care has been phenomenal! But don't take my word...take Mass General Hospital's: they are so impressed with what goes on at the North Shore Cancer Center that later this year the MGH & the North Shore Medical Center will break ground on a new, world-class, state of the art, co-branded MGH/NSMC Cancer Center, not too far from it's current location. Of course this will take a major financial committment from the hospitals as well as the community. A substantial amount of the funds raised at this year's Cancer Walk (to be held on June 24th) will help build & furnish the new Cancer Center. Even if you'd consider giving half of what you generously donated last year....we can have a huge impact on helping current & future cancer patients from Boston to Maine!
