The Baseball Challenge is an annual event held this year on Sunday, September 21 at 10am or after the afternoon Everett Aquasox game.  The goal is for recreational baseball players to have a great time playing baseball while raising funds for two fantastic organizations: Cocoon House of Snohomish County and Ronald McDonald House of Western Washington.  For more info visit www.thebaseballchallenge.org

Our team is raising money to support Cocoon House. Cocoon House is a non-profit organization in Everett, Washington that has served Snohomish County as the sole agency exclusively working to alleviate and prevent youth homelessness and providing essential support to runaway, homeless and high-risk teens, and their families.  Cocoon House provides short-term emergency shelter and long-term transitional housing for youth 13-17 who are homeless, disconnected or whose families are in crisis.  Outreach, advocacy, case management, resources and supportive services are also available to teens 13-21 who are in crisis, homeless or simply need an adult to trust.  For more information visit www.cocoonhouse.org
