UPDATE: November 2008
WE DID IT!!!!!! Bridget and I completed the marathon!!! It was a great experience, and I'm so grateful for all of the donations that kept me motivated throughout the training and on race day.
My running days are on hold for now as we focus on transitioning Kevin to preschool. Kevin has made tremendous progress, and I'm confident that he'll continue down this path. Thanks you for your support!
As you may already know, my son, Kevin, was recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In hindsight, I now recognize some of the early signs of Autism in his second year of life, but these signs are very difficult to see even with a trained eye. Therefore, I am hoping to raise awareness of the early signs of Autism as well as cash money for further desperately needed Autism research.
Whether you offer your prayers, positive vibes, or charitible donations, I deeply appreciate your support as we embark on the journey of treating Kevin and training for the 2008 Chicago Marathon!
Thank you!
Colleen
