Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit 501(c)3 bereavement camp offered free of charge to children, ages 7-17, who have suffered the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. Camps primary objective is to break the severe emotional isolation children feel after a family loss. To do this, we offer a blend of traditional camp activities, trust-building activities, 1:1 mentorship, and grief counseling, as well as an ongoing support network that will be there for each camper long after camp is over. Camps are located in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Virginia.
