Run, jog or walk along the scenic George Washington Parkway from historic Mount Vernon to charming Old Town Alexandria in the 2012 George Washington Parkway Classic 10 Mile or 5K as part of Comfort Zone's Grief Relief Team.  Help raise awareness and funds to send grieving children to a life-transforming weekend at Comfort Zone Camp.  Honor the memory of someone you have lost and pay it forward to grieving children.   All are welcome to join Comfort Zone's Grief Relief Team, an incredible network of Comfort Zone volunteers, camper parents, staff and supporters who raise awareness and funds to send grieving children to Comfort Zone Camp.

Comfort Zone Camp is a nonprofit bereavement camp for children who have lost a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. Comfort Zone Camps are offered free of charge and are held year-round across the country to grieving children ages 7-17. We have offices in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia. Comfort Zone Camps create an environment where grieving children can have fun and break the isolation grief often brings.

Register for the George Washington Parkway Classic Ten Mile or 5K.  You will need to register for the race itself in addition to completing registration with the team on this site.
