Please take the time to check out some information on Huntington's Disease. This is a very serious disease that doesn't get much attention. It is very close to me because my mother is going through it and it runs in my family. It's been a very emotional time for me and dealing with how this disease can affect someone's life. I watched my mom go from a loving, sweet woman to someone I barely recongnize and it breaks my heart. I have only seen my mom twice in the past 3 years due to the psychological mess this illness makes. When she sees me this look of fear comes across her face that it breaks my heart. I decided I want to do something about it....It's a way I can do something for her, even if I can't be with her. I love and miss my mother very much and if this is the little part I can do to stomp out this disease then by golly, BRING IT ON!!!
