CATSKILL REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER (CRMC) is Sullivan County's largest provider of health care services. 2nd ANNUAL WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES® TO BENEFIT RAPE INTERVENTION SERVICES & EDUCATION (RISE) OF SULLIVAN COUNTY

RISE advocates for anyone who is or has been a victim of sexual abuse. Founded in 1987, RISE provides an array of services to victims of sexual abuse and offers prevention education, advocacy and assistance to victims, and accompanies them to the hospital, police or district attorney after an incident. RISE also offers confidential individual, family or couples counseling as well as support groups and professional training sessions. 

Men from the greater Catskill region will lead a one mile walk, many in women’s shoes, to help raise funds for RISE.This unique fundraiser takes a lighthearted approach to a very serious subject and allows men to proclaim their solidarity with the rape prevention movement with women and children marching at their side.
