$30,000 in 30 days.
That’s how much money it takes to provide refuge to all the animals in our care every month.
So far this year, the Cedar Valley Humane Society has cared for more than 1,000 lost, abused, and unwanted animals, and our work is far from done. We are committed to continuing to be a steadfast resource for pets and pet owners throughout the Cedar Valley.
Yes, we stand ready to help any animal who comes through our doors… but we rely on donations to be able to continue these extraordinary efforts, and we need your help!
We want to raise enough money in September so that we can care for all of our pets for one month. Ambitious? You bet. Necessary? Absolutely!
Please help us by raising funds during our $30,000 in 30 Days Challenge.
See that green “Fundraise” button toward the upper right corner? Click there to create a personal fundraising page and tell everyone why you are passionate about helping homeless animals. Set your personal fundraising goal and use Facebook, Twitter, email, and blogs to reach out to friends and family to ask them to donate and help you meet your goal.
It really is about connecting with as many people as possible. The more people we can get to participate in raising funds, the faster we’ll reach $30,000. Even if the donations are only $10 each, all we need is 3,000 people, and we’re there!
If you prefer not to become a fundraiser, we understand. It’s easy to make a donation to someone who is already raising money! Take a look at the dark blue bar that goes across the screen. You'll see where it says "Fundraisers" with a number next to it. Click on that, and you can see the list of all the people who are participating. Click the View Page button on the right to see their story. Then scroll down and donate to that individual fundraiser to help them meet their goal! FirstGiving’s online giving system is totally secure, so you can donate with confidence.
When you support the Cedar Valley Humane Society, you change the lives of more than 1,500 animals a year. We are dedicated to making a positive difference, and your donation and fundraising efforts make all the difference!
Thank you for your extraordinary compassion!
