For one night only, McCrady’s Restaurant will close its doors to the public for the benefit of Carolina Youth Development Center . “A Night for the Children” Gala at McCrady’s will highlight the 219 years of history and service of the Carolina Youth Development Center (founded in 1790 as the Charleston Orphan House). Evening events will include silent and live auctions, live music and dancing and McCrady’s fabulous cuisine. Funds raised will support Carolina Youth Development Center ’s ten programs which help children who are victims of abuse or neglect, or who are at risk of delinquent behaviors. The event also raises community awareness about the critical needs of the children in our care.
