My personal message:
Thank you for honoring me by visiting my fundraising page. I'm running the San Francisco Marathon at the end of July and raising funds for the National Brain Tumor Foundation. As a four-year survivor of a malignant brain tumor, I feel blessed to be alive and more blessed to be able to run. Through two previous races, I have raised almost $2000 for the Foundation. I run to keep myself healthy, and by my example, seek to raise hope among those who are facing the challenges of living with a brain tumor. Please help with your donation to help us find out as much as we can about brain tumors...how to treat them, recover from them, and prevent them. If you are a returning sponsor, thank you for your past generosity. If you are new to my fundraising page, be aware that FirstGiving has implemented effective security measures, but you can donate offline if you are more comfortable with that.
