The money that is donated to the Cherry Springs Dark Sky Fund is directly accessible to the park without going through the general fund (as the set-up fee is).  This money is used to make improvements in the park and surrounds to enhance and expand the star-gazing experience at Cherry Springs and to help promote and protect the dark night sky at the park and in surrounding Potter County.

This is a special promotion fund raiser.  You may donated to the Dark Sky Fund at anytime, but hope you will consider participating in this Outdoor Event for September of 2008.
