I have run the Torch Run in support of the Special Olympics for many years.  This is my first year actually fundraising.  This will also be my first half marathon run. 

My wife Kelly is employed by Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) in Torrance.  My oldest daughter Brianna is now also working part time for PTN assisting with social skills.  Brianna and my two younger daughters Erin and Evelyn have volunteered for years as counselors at PTN's summer camp "Camp Escapades". 

My inspiration to run and raise money comes from the dedication of my daughters in helping kids with special needs and the fortitude of the Special Olympics atheletes who compete in the Olympics.  They overcome their disabilities to compete in activities many of us take for granted.
