This summer, on the last Saturday in June, I am going to ride in an event called RATPOD ( RIde Around the Pioneers in One Day) , a 137 mile fundraising bike ride for an amazing organization - The Childrens Oncology Camp Foundation.

COCF runs Camp Mak-A-Dream  - a year-round resident camp that serves kids and young adults with cancer from across North america. Located in Gold Creek, Montana, Camp Mak-A-Deam (www.campdream.org) provides love, support, guidance, and a traditional camping experience for kids whose lives have been permananly altered by cancer. Last year, Camp Mak-A-Dream served close to 400 campers and made a difference in each and everyone's lives. I know, because a member of my family attended for two years in a row and her experience changed the way she lived the rest of her life - with courage, conviction, and hope. 

Last year, riders in RATPOD raised over $200,000 for Camp Mak A Dream - that is close to 20% of their over-all budget  and a significant step toward meeting their commitmemnts to the kids and young adults they serve. I would like to ask you to consider supporting Camp by making a gift to my ride through this website.

I am planing to ride all 137 miles, starting and ending in Dillon, Montana. You can choose to pledge an amount per mile ( in case you think I WON"T make it) or a single lump sum pledge. All will help. I 'd like you to consider a gift of $100 or more and help me reach my goal of  $2,000. Your gift will do so much good for youngsters with cancer.
