Thank you reading my fundraising page: Your donation is priceless in more ways then you can imagine:
Hi My Name is David and I am a brain tumor survivor. I have had 2 brain tumor surgerys and I go every 6 months to have MRI's done to monitor the mass that I have now. After my most recent scan my results came back showing a slight increase but fortunately it isn't causing any problems with my ventricles. So until the next MRI in January things are stable. It's hard being a kid with brain tumors, they have to shave your head, Now I can't get my hair buzz cut, because you'll see my scars. After my second tumor surgery I had a stroke which caused me to lose part of my vision. I don't have any peripheral vision. It's like looking through a straw.
Anyway, this "Ride 4 Kids' event that the Honda Riders of America does is really cool. I've been able to ride twice before, once in a side car and once on the back. This Sunday, October 18th I'm participating again. I would love to go and not only be on stage in the celebration of life but I wish that I'd be able to tell everyone that I was able to reach my goal of $3600. In the past 2 events I've raised much much more, but I understand that things are harder for people now a days. That's why I'd appreciate any donation at all. I still need to raise quite a bit, but I'm going to try and get it or at least get as close as possible. Also, I make these really nice bracelets that I bead myself, if you would like one in return for a donation please contact my mom, Miriam at Medyum@aol.com. We can mail it to you that way.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to please forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
