Hello Everyone,

I have taken up the challenge of running my first marathon in Chicago to raise money for a village in Africa. All of you who know me, knows I'm pretty determined when I set my mind to something. Like moving to Utah.......ha ha!  On more of a serious note it has not been easy. I have been training for around 6 months now and I am determined to finish, upright hopefully... After many aches, pains, blisters, running as early as 3:30 AM because of the heat and exhaustion I think I am ready with the Lords help. Whenever I feel like quitting I think of how these children suffer and even more how God suffered for me on the cross and it makes me kick it in gear and keep on running. Any donation will help. Watching this Presidential fundraising definitely proves that even $5 makes a huge difference when we all come together.
