In these end-of-world times of economic meltdown, NYWC's  free creative writing programs are more important than ever. As long as we can  pay our bills, NYWC will continue to offer more than 1,000 free, unique and powerful writing workshops each year for the homeless and formerly homeless, at-risk and economically disadvantaged young people, seniors, war veterans, the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated, cancer survivors and many others.However, our funding has been cut. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!
