Greetings!

Thank you for visiting Hayden's page.

We are asking our friends, family and colleagues to support "Hayden's Giants" - our team for the Diabetic Youth Foundation's 2008 Families in the Forest Fundraising Walk.

As you may know, Hayden was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a little over a year ago.  He was only 4 years old.  Though we were terrified and overwhelmed, we quickly learned that we are not alone.  More than 70,000 children under the age of 15 develop Type 1 Diabetes each year (this is almost 200 children every day).

In the Diabetic Youth Foundation we have found care, education, resources and support.  Perhaps more importantly, Hayden has found an inspiring and nurturing community made up of other little boys and girls who are just like him.  As he grows up and learns to cope with this serious disease, we will forever be thankful to have found DYF.  We hope you will join us in supporting this life-saving organization!
