 My sister Jan, who lives outside L.A., has been battling ovarian cancer for five years now, and is doing well.  A year ago, her son Gabe was disagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a form of bone cancer that typically affects young people.  After a successful surgery, he's still experiencing some unresolved pain issues.  He hopes to start college at Cal State this fall. 

Because they live so far away, the distance factor makes it harder to support them, so I dedicate this page and my work with GIlda's Club to them.   Please join me in supporting the Gilda's Comedy Walk at the Zoo in honor of Jan and Gabe.
