Hi everyone!

Thank you for opening my email....I am a little behind on this one, but a friend, I most admire, Julia Burt told me about this event coming up next Saturday, 10/10 and I want to walk with Julia in memory of my sister, Patti and in honor of my dear mother-in-law, Carol.  We lost Patti last spring after she fought a courageous battle against cancer since 1985 when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer.  Carol's was caught in the early stages thankfully but she still had to undergo a masectomy.

This local event is not like the 60-mile walk I did several years ago, but it is just as if not more meaningful andThe Desert Cancer Foundation is very important to our local community with assisting cancer patients.
