Dear Friend,

I will be riding in the Rodman Ride for Kids on September 27th to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester.  I am honored to ride in this one-day bike ride on behalf of this great organization. 

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester serves at-risk children from some of the most challenged areas of the city. The main reason kids between the ages of 6 and 18 years of age choose to spend time at the Club is because they know they will be safe and have fun.  Once inside one of the Club’s three clubhouses, children are encouraged to explore their interests and learn new skills in the 200+ programs available.  Every day the children at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester have an opportunity they would not have otherwise and the staff work hard to make sure every child feels welcome and appreciated.  The Club makes all this available to over 4,000 members for just $5 annually. 

The Rodman Ride for Kids is the Club’s biggest fundraiser and for every dollar we raise the Club receives a 15% match from the Ride.  My goal is to raise $1000 from my friends and family – this will net $1150 for the kids at the Club.  I hope you will consider sponsoring me and by doing so, your tax-deductible donation will go a long way in making a difference in the lives of the over 4,000 children and families served by the Colonel Daniel Marr Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester.  I have enclosed an addressed, postage-paid envelope, or you can visit my website: www.firstgiving.com/pfp/denniscollins  to donate electronically.
