Thank you for your ongoing support of Desert AIDS Walk. 2008 marks our 21st Walk and commemorates Desert AIDS Project's 25th year of service.

The Desert AIDS Walk steps off at the corner of Alejo and Palm Canyon North to Tacheavah. At Tacheavah cross to the West side of Palm Canyon to Baristo. At Baristo cross to the East side of Palm Canyon and return to Alejo.
Everyone is welcome at the Walk. No minimum distance is required and we will have water stations along the route. A map will be provided at the event. We appreciate the support from the community and encourage everyone to attend the event and enjoy the festivities.
No minimum dollar amount is neccessary to participate in the Walk. To receive an AIDS Walk t-shirt and bag we ask for a minimum $25 donation.
Desert AIDS Walk 2008 is committed to being earth-friendly by Recycling and Reducing whenever possible. Our Revivals stores help our community share this commitment, by Reusing rather than adding to landfills.
Desert AIDS Project provides medical and comprehensive support services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the desert community. Free, confidential, rapid-result HIV testing is available, as well as counseling, home health services, legal assistance and assistance with housing, medications, food, re-employment, and more. Prevention and education outreach is available to any group.
