The goal of Mississippi's Walk for Diabetes is to raise awareness about diabetes and to raise donations to support the programs and services of the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi including emergency medical assistance for children and adults, Camp Kandu, the only camp for children with diabetes and their families in our state, educational programs for those living with diabetes and for health professionals, Sweet Subject program educating teachers and school staff about caring for kids with diabetes in the school settings, and much much more! Every dollar raised by the DFM stays in Mississippi!

Dress your "SIDEKICK" up for the "SUPER SUGAR COSTUME CONTEST" (remember that all sidekicks must be mild mannered and on a leash!)
