Dear Fans of Mimi and Friends:

   As most of you know, we rescued our bearded collie, Mimi, over seven years ago. When she came to us she was a wreck both physically and mentally. She had never been let outside to play, she was a matted mess and many of her teeth were broken off under the gum requiring many painful dental procedures. She still was a sweet and loving girl even with all of these challenges.

   Now, she has gone from a sorrowful creature to an international acclaimed model. Mark Adams, the exceptionally talented painter, choose Mimi as the subject of one of his incredible pieces. Her rags to riches story would not have happened if it hadn't been for a rescue group like the Humane Society of Baltimore County.
