My personal message:

During my years in the Navy serving in the Persian Gulf I escorted oil tankers, did mine sweeping operations and travelled through the Straits of Hormuz.  All of this was in preparation for the scariest thing I have ever had to deal with......Burroughs "Freezin' for a Reason" event on Saturday February 7th!

That is the day I have to take my "it's been way too long since I have been to the gym or gone on a run" body into the LI Sound!  The thought of the cold water (survivors tell me it was 38 degrees last year) is not something I am looking forward to but it is for a great cause.....the Burroughs Community Center in Bridgeport!

I know times are tough for just about everyone now but they are a lot tougher for the kids and families that Burroughs works with than they are for you and me.  So.....unless you want me showing up at your next big party in a speedo...help me help Burroughs by making a donation to this insane event!

Thanks so much for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!

Dick
