We are participating in the Runtex Distance challenge, a series of seven races starting in September 2007 and culminating in February 2008 with the Austin Marathon.  Total distance covered will be 87 miles!

We are raising money for researchers to help find a cure for Kennedy’s Disease, a Muscular Dystrophy similar to ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) but not as aggressive.  Kennedy’s Disease (KD) is a rare and currently untreatable disease which directly affects several members of our families and hundreds of others throughout the world. 

The Kennedy’s Disease Association (KDA) will be awarding grants to several doctors and researchers again this year.  They need our help to fund these grants.  Together, with everyone’s help, we WILL find a cure.

Please dig deep and donate to KDA online to help raise money for research to eliminate this disease.  Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.  We need your help so please consider making a donation today.
