Join more than 1,000 other animal advocates and their four-legged friends for Washington's biggest dog walk -- the 26th annual Dog-A-Thon! Held at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, this fun, family event has something for everyone: lakeside and scenic trails, dozens of pet-related booths, demonstrations, contests, entertainment, food trucks, and much more! Best of all, the walk benefits homeless animals at the Humane Society. Last year, the Dog-A-Thon raised $303,000 for our furry friends, and we need your help to raise even more in 2016.
Start by creating your own personalized web page right here. Let your friends know why you care about animals, add a photo, and send a link to everyone you know. It's the fun, effortless way to support homeless pets!
YOU HELP SAVE LIVES
Every year, the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County is able to find loving homes for more than 6,000 pets, and reunite thousands more with their owners.
With your support, more than 1,300 orphaned, ill, or unsocialized pets are fostered; 3,000 pets are spayed and neutered for low-income owners; and more than 5,000 families receive help feeding their pets through our Emergency Pet Food Bank.
Your Dog-A-Thon pledges also fund medical care, food, shelter, bathing supplies, and many other essentials for shelter pets. We couldn't do it without you!
Thank you for helping animals and giving the most vulnerable among us a second chance at life.
