Hi, my name is Grace.  I am 8 years old and in 2nd grade.  My friend Sophia started something called Hope Walks (http://www.hopewalks.org/)  that raised money for orphans in Africa.  That made me realize that kids can make a difference too. 

I got the idea for Dollars For Doctors while I was talking to my Dad.  He was telling me about how some people can't afford to go to the doctor.  While he was talking I suddenly got the idea to raise money to help those people so they won't be sick. 

The organization I chose is called Doctors without Borders.  They go to more than 70 countries to help people in big emergencies or just people who don't have medical care.

My goal is to raise $500.00 which will provide a medical kit containing basic drugs, supplies, equipment, and dressings to treat 1,500 patients for three months

If 500 people donate just one dollar, we can reach that goal together.  I hope that you can pay at least one dollar. 

My mom has donated through this site before so we know that it is secure.
