FOR  THE FIRST COAST NO MORE HOMELESS PETS

They say we rescued Gracie, but she really rescued us.....We had just lost Pookie several weeks before, Gracie was found roaming the streets of Jacksonville.  A friend called us knowing that we had lost our dog and felt we needed to replace her.  My heart was still heavy but we went to see her anyway.  The neighbors had been passing her around for several days and we were her last hope before they were turning her over to the cily.   Richard and I brought her home with us that night....and the rest is history.  We believe she was about 5 months old when we brought her home, because she had just started losing her baby teeth.  That was almost ten years ago, we brought her home on  September 24, 1999. 
 

So, let us try and give all the Gracie's a home.  Please help Gracie and I  in our walk a thon during Octoberfest.
