The Suicide Prevention Action Network (SPAN USA) is a national, volunteer-driven, nonprofit working to increase awareness of the toll of suicide in our nation and to develop political will to ensure that our government effectively addresses the problem of suicide. Largely thanks to the work of SPAN USA and its advocates the US Congress passed resolutions recognizing suicide as a national problem and declaring suicide prevention a national priority.

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. The picture you see here on this image of a stamp is my daughter Christina. She took her life on October 17th 2005. I chose this image to let everyone who visits this site, how easy it can be to help others like Christina. Would you please join with me and hundreds of others in this devastating illness that takes so many lives. There is one suicide every 16 minutes, thats 88 a day. It is the 2nd leading cause of death for american college students. It even out numbers homicide by a margin of 3 to 2. Together we can let others know there is hope for them and there family members. Like my self and many others who have lost a love one to suicide we realize there is something wrong with this persons life. But we seem to think that things will get better. I knew Christina was suffering and I did everything that I knew to do. I read, I listened, I told her I loved her, I was there for her but still, I never thought she would take her own life. Even after 4 attempts. But I am here and living proof to let others know that we need to be more educated on this serious problem we have facing our nation today. Will you please join with me by donating whatever amount you can for this cause. Together if we can help one more love one, then we can go even further. In memory of Christina.
