Dor Chadash Annual Spring into Summer Campaign
Help us reach our $50,000 goal
For the past 8 years, Dor Chadash has become synonymous with the best Israel-related events in New York City. With over 40 programs a year, Dor Chadash enables you to engage in Israeli culture with a wide array of art, film and music events, festive celebrations of Jewish and Israeli holidays, participate in topical discussions and dinners with friends, and volunteer your time and energy to help communities in need. We have hosted over 14,000 young professional Israeli and American Jews at our events. For many of you, we are your strongest connection to Israeli and/or Jewish life in New York.
To be as inclusive as possible, we have made efforts to keep our event prices low and sometimes free. In the past we have managed to operate primarily with the support of grant and foundation money. But, due to wonderful growth and your participation, these funds are no longer sufficient. Fundraising is necessary to keep offering the diversity of programs that you have enjoyed and to preserve and further grow the community that we have built together. Please help us continue to be your home away from home!
Following the success of the 2010 Spring into Summer Campaign, we are targeting a goal of raising $50,000 by June 21 (the first official day of summer). The UJA Federation of New York has generously pledged a matching grant of $30,000 to help us launch our campaign. Therefore every dollar you donate is actually doubled in helping Dor Chadash reach its goal.
No gift is too small (or too large!) -- we are striving for 100% participation from our community. If each member of our community contributes to this campaign in some way, whether $18 or $1800, there is no doubt we will meet and even exceed our goal.
