Dress Up 2 Cure is an annual national campaign kicking off on April Fools' Day and continuing throughout the month of April (Autism Awareness Month) to raise money for Rett Syndrome Research. WHAT IS RETT SYNDROME?
- Debilitating neurological disorder that predominantly affects females which is potentially reversible.
- The most physically disabling of the autism spectrum disorders.
- The leading genetic cause of severe impairment in girls - most cannot speak, walk or use their hands.
- As prevalent as Cystic Fibrosis, ALS and Huntington's.
- Another little girl is born with Rett Syndrome every 90 minutes.

Families who have daughters with Rett Syndrome are heading up teams. Each of their team members will raise money for their team by reaching out to their friends and family as well as hosting mini dress-up events! Think tea parties, bake sales, pot luck dinners --- even runners running in crazy garb! Need an idea?
Although families are busy recruiting friends and family, this event is open to anyone interested in helping to find a cure for hundreds of thousands of girls worldwide.
You can support a girl's team featured on this site, donate to our cause in honor of someone special, or even join a team and get involved yourself by creating your own fundraising page!
Rett Syndrome is as prevalent as Cystic Fibrosis, Huntington's Disease and ALS, but most people have not heard of it.
