1. WALK or RUN: Register to walk or run our 5K by clicking on START FUNDRAISING at the top of this page! Choose the "5K REGISTRATION" link.  When registering, click on "create a team" that can be linked to your fundraising page (see #3). Follow the unique link in your registration confirmation email to create your fundraising page! Additional race details coming soon. Check out the course map here.  *DISCOUNTED EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION ENDED 8/15/13 AT NOON.* ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS WEDNESDAY, 10/9/13 AT NOON.*

2. PLEDGE: Find your favorite fundraising page by clicking on "view all fundraising pages" & make a donation.


Collect pledges for our event with a fundraising page! ANY individual/group can create a fundraising page, including Team Captains (individuals with DS), walkers, runners, volunteers, virtual participants, friends, family, businesses, community groups, & more! Be sure to link your fundraising page to your favorite Team.

TEAMMATES' REGISTRATION FEES count toward your Team Captain's fundraising total!

TEAM FUNDRAISING AWARDS - We will also continue to recognize the top fundraising teams on stage and with a gift at the event!

4. VOLUNTEER Register by visiting our NEW volunteer registration site at Use passcode STEPUP2013.  Volunteers will receive a t-shirt (quantities permitting) and a coupon for a free Chick-Fil-A sandwich. Volunteers may begin picking up their t-shirts at The Shops at White Oak Village at the beginning of their shift on Thursday, October 10, 2013, or beginning at 5am on Saturday, October 12, 2013.  *ONLINE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION CLOSES 10/8/13 at Noon.* Contact Meg Rapelye, Volunteer Coordinator, at with any questions.
