Important Buddy Walk Information
• Sunday, October 16 – BUDDY WALK
New Location: Union Central Park (located behind Union 6/7 Center at 62/Mingo)
Time: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Registration is encouraged but not required.
Parking: Limited parking available at Union 6/7 grade center and parking available with shuttle service at Asbury United Methodist Church at 67/Mingo.
Incentives
All money/matching gift forms must be turned in by Sunday, October 16 at 3:30 pm to receive incentives listed below
• $150 - $500 – Insulated Tumbler Glass with BW Logo (Think Tervis Tumbler)
• > $500 – above + Hat w BW Logo
• > $1,000 – Above + “VIB” parking pass (1)
• > $2,500 – Above + “VIB” tent
• > $4,000 – Additional (1) “VIB” parking pass
o Top Three(3) fundraiser featured in 2012 Buddy Walk promotional materials
• Thursday, Sept. 15 @ 5:30 pm – Buddy Walk Team Captain Dinner
Location: Kirk of the Hills (Room TBD), prior to DSAT Meeting. (Prefer adults only (if possible), childcare and child meal provided in separate room). All registered Team Captains will receive an evite from Jamie Harper. YOU MUST RSVP to attend. OT’s will be onsite to work with your children at the children’s dinner. They will be making Team Posters. Contact Jamie Harper at osu_alum@sbcglobal.net if you are a team captain and did not receive an invite.

• Friday, Sept 16 – Buddy Walk Ambassador form deadline
All self-advocates wishing to be a Buddy Walk ambassador need to return form postmarked by 9/16. Contact tulsabuddywalk@gmail.com to request a nomination form.

• Tuesday, October 11 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm – Kick-Off Party at Bounce U
Location: Bounce U at 91st & Memorial (8922 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa 74133)
FREE event. Kids can jump while you pick up registration bags, turn-in incentive money and receive incentives prizes.
• Tuesday, October 11 – VIB TENT INCENTIVE DEADLINE
To qualify a “VIB” tent, incentive money must be turned in by Tuesday, October 11th. You may turn in additional money up until the walk but no VIB Tent incentive will be awarded after 10/11/11.
• Friday, October 14 – Final day for EARLY BIRD registration prices.
Online registraiotn will end at midnight on 10/14/11. Next opportunity to register is at the walk.
