“If you don't like the way the world is, you change it. You have an obligation to change it. You just do it one step at a time.” - Marian Wright Edelman
YOU have the power to make West Michigan a better place. YOU alone can remove some of the obstacles that people with Down syndrome may experience. YOU can make a difference – one step at a time.
The Buddy Walk is the most important event of the year for the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan. People throughout West Michigan participate in a one mile walk at Millennium Park to promote awareness for all people with Down syndrome. In addition, we raise funds to help support local programs, services, education, advocacy efforts and national research.
YOU and the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan can take a step to change the world.
