The Capabilities Walk / Talent Show is an event to Celebrate the many talents and possibilities that our individuals with Down syndrome possess. We hope that the Walk / Talent show will educate and promote Positive Awareness to the general public and serve  as a network of support for the families and advocates of individuals with Down syndrome.

Come join us for a fun filled day of entertainment, food and games. Walk is free with the option of pre-ordering a t-shirt for $10.00.

DSSASI is committed to improving the quality of life of those with Down syndrome by providing information and support to parents and increasing public understanding of Down syndrome through education, awareness, and advocacy. DSSASI serves Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott, and Washington Counties in Indiana.

Funds raised for DSSASI through the Capabilities Walk / Talent Show will be used to help support the local needs of individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Such as scholarships to attend National Conventions, social and educational events,  New Parent Volunteer Network, Lending Library and  Adult Literacy Program.
