On October 19th, 2008 i will be running the IMT Des Moines Marathon.  The charity I am running for is the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention. 

After suffering the loss of my sister in 2003, I picked up the tradition of running.  Initially, I ran to maintain my health & sobriety and to be a stronger person for my family as we mourned.  I never imagined that running would take me this far.  Five years later, I remain sober & have just recently finished my 16th full marathon in Marathon, IA.  GOD has blessed me with an amazing talent and I feel it is now time for me to use it for good & the sake of others. 

Friends, please join me on October 19th for the IMT Des Moines Marathon to support the AFSP and to celebrate the life of my sister, Darcy Jo Whitebreast Keahna.
