Each year the East-West Church host the 'Miles for Mammograms' Walk/Run & Motorycle Ride to raise funds for a local breast cancer organization. Proceeds will once again benefit the WellStar Network of hospitals to fund mammograms for those in our area who cannot afford them.
Getting a mammogram is one of the most important things a woman can do to detect breast cancer early. Unfortunately, more and more women are not able to afford this life saving procedure. This is where you can help. For as little as $130, you can provide a mammogram through the WellStar Network for those who cannot afford them. All you need to do is create a fundraiser page and reach out to your family & friends to have them support you. It only takes thirteen people, donating $10 to fund a mammogram.
