On September 12th and 13th 2009 I will be attempting to handcycle through Franconia and Crawford Notches and over the Kancamagus Pass in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I will be one of a number of cyclists participating in the 3 Notches Ride to support Northeast Passage, an adaptive sports and recreation program at the University of New Hampshire. In addition to supporting Northeast Passage I am attempting to raise funds for AbilityPLUS, the non-profit organization that I work for at Attitash in the Mt Washington Valley.
At AbilityPLUS we offer increased access to athletic and recreational opportunities in the northeast for persons with physical and mental disabilities that will create freedom, promote independence, support inclusion and help those individuals and their families discover their full social, mental and athletic potential. The organization's main focus is on adaptive skiing programs
A per mile pledge; $.25, $.50 or more for each of the 100 miles
A per Notch pledge; $10, $20 or $50 per Notch I climb through
$1 for each of the 45 students we worked with this past Winter
$.50 or $1 for each of the 160 ski lessons we did this past Winter
Once again thank you for your support, no donation is too small. It's easy to sponsor me online - just click the "Sponsor Me Now" box! However, if you would prefer to send a check, make it payable to AbilityPLUS Inc and mail to my attention at:
