Here we go again!  This will be our 2nd year fundraising for The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs.  We had 5 people running in honor of Edie  last year and ONLY because of our family and friends our team raised over $10,000 in 2009!  So this year we are raising the bar.  HIGH! On February 14th we will have over 23 family and friends running the 2010 Mercedes Marathon in honor of Edie and to raise money for The Bell Center!  We are so blessed!

Edie currently attends Early Intervention therapy at The Bell Center twice per week.  This program is such a huge part of our life.  Edie has been attending TBC since she was six weeks old and has progressed from learning to grasp a simple baby rattle to being able to walk while assisted.  Edie is making such wonderful progress due to the great therapy she recieves from this center.  We want to do whatever we can to help The Bell Center to bless each child, parent and family as they have ours.

Edie was born Janruary 14th, 2008 with Down syndrome and has come such a long way.  She can now walk while being assised or alone with a push walker.  She can climb stairs and crawl fast as lightening!  She can sign dog, eat, all done, sleep, milk, bath, please, more, book and ball.  She can identify her nose, head, mouth, teeth,eyes and belly button.  She has great social skills and loves being with people.  She can also sign "Roll Tide Roll!" {in her own way of course}

We are so proud of Edie and the things she is doing.   She amazes us each and every day.   We are also proud to be part of such a wonderful organization and to have this opportunity to do somthing great!  You can help us by contributing to our cause in honor of Edie and all of the other beautiful children who attend The Bell Center.  This is the largest fundraiser for The Bell Center which operates soley from people like you.  No matter how big or small - Thank you for making a difference.
