November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month!
Join us for the First Annual
2009 "Seize the Moment" Run/Walk!
This year people from all over Central & South Texas will join together to bring awareness to the third most common neurological disorder in the United States — epilepsy. Come walk or run with us and show your support! Events will be held in San Antonio and Brownsville on November 7th at 8:00AM rain or shine! Details for each event are listed below.
All donations & contributions from the event will benefit the programs of professional and public education, community service, direct medical assistance, and social services.
SAN ANTONIO
Epilepsy Awareness 5K Run/Walk

San Antonio: Our Epilepsy Awareness 5K Run/Walk will take place on a 3.1 mile tree-lined paved course with gentle rolling hills through the beautiful city of Shavano Park. Looking for a shorter route? Our 1-mile shortcut route will be available!
Brownsville: Our Epilepsy Awareness Walk will take place at the 24 acre Dean Porter Park set along the palm tree lined Town Resaca.
AWARDS
San Antonio: Race trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Finishers. Prizes will be given to those with the Most Team Members, Most Monies Raised, and Most Team Spirit.
REGISTRATION
Registration is available online, by mail or in person! To register online press the orange GET STARTED button at the top of the page. After registering you can join a team or create your own Personal Fundraising Page to collect donations from your friends and family.
