Since 1983, the Epilepsy Foundation New England has been making a difference for people with epilepsy as well as educating the community and developing support networks for families and friends.
Our programs & services are made possible through the generosity of our private donors: Programs are expanding to support people living with epilepsy in the four state areas: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine and New Hampshire.
These include: Advocacy, Community & Professional Education, Support and social groups for teens & adults, Parent & Family Support Network, Camp Wee Kan Tu, an overnight camp for children with epilepsy ages 8 to 17, Information & Referral services and Employment programs.
The Epilepsy Foundation New England is governed by a board of directors comprised of dedicated men and women volunteers from throughout the community and is advised by an active Professional Advisory Board of medical and other professional specialists. We have three full-time and several part-time staff members in our headquarters office located in Dorchester, a neighborhood of Boston and two Field Service Coordinators working in their home states of Maine and Rhode Island.
