The Walk for Epilepsy: Looking Forward to a Cure will be a day filled with food, fun, live entertainment and games for individuals and families to enjoy. We will gather this September to ensure that "Not another moment is lost to seizures" for our first walk in western Massachusetts. We need your support more than ever as these tough economic times are leaving so many looking for information about health care and prescription access services & ways to connect with other people living with epilepsy. Join us for a beautiful fall weekend walk along the shores of Cheshire Lake to raise awareness about epilepsy and funds for services.

Check-in 9 am Walk 10 am Fun 11:30 Join us in Concord New Hampshire for a walk dedicated to the memory of Ashley Dawn Pouliot. This 2 mile walk through the campus of the NH Technical Institute will support the Foundation's efforts to bring programs and services to New Hampshire. There wil be food, music and family fun; come and meet others living with epilepsy, raise awareness, learn about epilepsy and have fun!

Epilepsy Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island

The Epilepsy Foundation, MA & RI (EFMRI) mission is to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences and to work toward prevention, control and a cure for epilepsy throuugh advocacy, education, research and support services.

Since 1983, the Epilepsy Foundation, MA & RI has been making a difference for people with epilepsy as well as educating the community and developing support networks for families and friends.

Our programs & services are made possible through the generosity of our private donors: Programs are expanding to support people living with epilepsy in the four state areas: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine and New Hampshire. These include:

Advocacy, Community & Professional Education, Support and social groups for teens & adults, Parent & Family Support Network, Camp Wee Kan Tu, an overnight camp for children with epilepsy ages 8 to 17, Information & Referral services and Employment programs. contact support@efmri.org for information regarding these programs & services.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Massachusetts & Rhode Island is governed by a board of directors comprised of dedicated men and women volunteers from throughout the community and is advised by an active Professional Advisory Board of medical and other professional specialists. We have three full-time and several part-time staff members in our headquarters office.
