My personal message:

Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you know that over the past several years, our family has been struggling with a disease called Chronic Lyme Disease.

With this disease not only are people dealing with the bacteria debilitating their lives but they also have to deal with most doctors in this state, and many others, who know very little about this disease. We need to raise awareness and education so doctors know what they are looking for and can treat with the right diagnoses.  Some people are on waiting lists of up to 6 months or more because there are not enough doctors educated.  If anyone has suffered a life threatening illness, waiting 6 months is not acceptable but in Lyme patient’s cases that is what patients have to do until there are cancellations.

Lyme Disease researchers believe that there are tens of 1,000's of people that are misdiagnosed with MS, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Adrenal Fatigue, Epstein Barr Virus, Thyroid issues, Lupus, Autism, IBS, Parkinson's Disease, ALS, Alzheimer’s, sudden onset of allergies, ADD....the list is long.

On Sunday, September 27th, 2009, our family is excited to be involved with a national non-profit organization called TURN THE CORNER FOUNDATION.   We will be walking in Chicagoland's first "Create Footprints Walk” at BEAUTIFUL Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL.  All monies from this walk will go to TURN THE CORNER FOUNDATION towards Lyme Disease Research and Awareness.  We hope you can either walk with us, Team Egler, or donate.

Please help in this very important cause through your donation or walking or both.

We are looking for Corporate and individual Sponsors.  If your company donates $300 or more your logo will be printed on the back of our t-shirts and advertised at event.  Plaques and various advertising options are given from $100+ donation levels.

Our family is asking for your help in our fight to raise awareness and funding for Lyme Disease.  We know times are tough for all of us, but it's even more difficult for the hundred's of thousands of Lyme patients affected by this disease and the incredible expenses incurred since many insurance companies do not pay for Dr. visits or treatment.

Your support is a huge blessing to us.  Any size of support and/or donation will help out tremendously in bringing awareness and much needed funding for research for Chronic Lyme disease. Our site is http://www.firstgiving.com/egler

More information on Lyme Disease can be found on our website, www.chicagolyme.com.

Trusting in Jesus,
