My personal message:
Matt and I will be lacing up our walking shoes, dragging Mr. Lazybones off the couch, and walking to raise money for homeless and abandoned animals again this year.

On June 8th, it's HSCC's 14th Annual Walk for the Animals. As you know, the animals we serve (both here in the shelter and those we all "serve" in our homes and lives) make many a life better each and every day. And in order to care for and place those animals in loving homes, HSCC relies on the generosity of its donors, volunteers, and friends.

So, dig deep if you will and help make this 14th annual event the best it's ever been. We raised more than $52,000 last year and we're shooting to pass that record this year. (Personally we're shooting to make our $1,200 goal this year and beat our own efforts last year!)
