Dear family and friends:
Thank you for visiting our personal fundraising page for Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF).
It is the holiday season - a time to be thankful for what we have and to remember those who have little. In light of recent stories we've heard about the ongoing humanitarian crises in Sudan, Chad and DR Congo (among others) we have been inspired to try to do SOMETHING to help the people affected by these conflicts.
Click here for info on the under-reported crisis occurring in the Congo http://www.doctorswithoutborders.org/news/2007/11-15-2007.cfm
We desperately want to give and give BIG to MSF because their medical staff is on the ground directly helping victims who are most in need. This is a cause about which we both care deeply, and we're asking our friends and family to help. Can we raise $1,500 for MSF? That's only 30 people giving $50 each. (or 60 giving $25...you get the picture!)
As a group, we can make a real difference.
Making year-end donations through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to this organization of dedicated individuals who are making an impact on the health and welfare of victims of war, disease, and natural disasters worldwide.
Whether you can contribute $10 or $100, please consider helping at any amount - it means a lot. For information about the good work being done by MSF, please visit www.doctorswithoutborders.org.
Many thanks for your support-- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Best wishes and happy holidays!
