The Ellie Fund was created in 1995 by brothers Jeff & Eliot Popkin to honor their mother's courageous fight against breast cancer and the giving spirit that she exemplified throughout her life, The Ellie Fund provides for the immediate needs of more than 500 breast cancer patients and families each year completely free of charge: transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping, groceries, and meals.
